I've learned a lot and I'm very gratefully for the experiences I've had, both good and horrible. As of late, I've found myself leaning towards the staging aspect of interior design and I now have a plan. I've done some research and I am going to purchase a collection of home furnishings and accessories for staging future real-estate properties.
I will still offer interior design services and continue staging but I will have more control and flexibility when it comes to the when, what, where, cost, and leasing options. When you find a glitch in the system, you want to either fix it or find something better. Usually, there are preset company guidelines and contracts that a designer has to work around and sometimes both the client and the designer suffer. Your end user always has to be top priority. I've worked hard to get to where I am and with hard work, networking, using my resources, and God's blessing, I know this is going to be MY YEAR!!
